Intimate travel photographer
poetry made as both inspiration and muse
Meet Laura
My love of photography all started at 13 years old. I carried around a camera like it was my own skin, so much so that I was endearingly called “my little entrepreneur” by my mother. The muse at this time was my horse, Legend, who patiently endured photoshoot after photoshoot… and this eventually led to capturing friends at the stables and gaining some outside recognition from mutuals.
Years later, I decided to progress my photography forward and my love for it only flourished. I retired my old Canon Rebel, moved away from equestrian photography, and into engagements and weddings. This is when I saw the visual poetry I was able to bring to life and further imagined the stories that could be told. Now, photography isn’t just my work, rather, who I am and the art that I create.
Photography, for me, has always been a way of noticing – of honoring what is already there. My clients are people who I truly care about and it is such an privilege to capture them in any season.
I just hope our paths can align – yours and mine.
